Raiders Heading To Kansas!!!
![]() |
The Raiders added another piece of hardware to their crowded trophy case this season after winning the FCCAA State/NJCAA Region VIII Title last Saturday against Tallahassee. NWF turned in a brilliant second half performance to stymie the vaunted Eagles, as the Raiders outscored TCC 44-26 in the final twenty minutes. The win capped off an awesome week for the scarlet and silver, and it’s just another milestone in what has shaped out to be an absolutely magical season for Northwest Florida. Their journey, which has included 28 victories, a Panhandle Conference Championship, numerous individual awards, and now a FCCAA State Championship, will enter the final chapter next week as they travel to Hutchinson, KS for the NJCAA National Tournament (March 16-20). It is there where the Raiders will look to continue their remarkable run and bring home the ultimate prize!
Currently, the Raiders are preparing thoroughly for the National Tournament. On Sunday, the team will depart the Northwest Florida Regional Airport at 5:25am in route to Hutchinson, KS. After practicing on Monday, NWF will turn in early on Monday night in preparations for their first round game on Tuesday, March 16th at 10:00am. The Raiders will be facing Southeastern C.C. (IA), a tradition-rich school that is very talented and accustomed to being at the National Tournament. It will definitely be a challenge, but one in which the Raiders will be very excited for.
