Men's basketball inks Alabama prep star

The Northwest Florida State College men's basketball team has signed another promising player, this time from Alabama. Neiko Hunter, a 6-foot-6-inch senior at Eutaw's Green County High School, has signed to continue his promising career for Raider coach Bruce Stewart.
Hunter was recently named MVP of the Alabama Class 3A state tournament, as Green County was crowned state champion. In his senior season, Hunter averaged 18 points, 12 rebounds and three blocks per game and was named to numerous all-area and all-state teams. He was also ranked as one of the top 100 high school small forwards in the country by ESPN.com .
"Neiko is an excellent signee who will keep our talent level and athletic ability at the top of the league," Stewart said.
